As UCI grad students face challenges today, AGS would like to provide Grad students a forum to voice challenges and successes surrounding issues like the budget, grad student health care, etc.
We are looking for multimedia submissions targeted to state and university decision makers in order to make them aware of the context and conditions of graduate student life at UCI.
We encourage students to submit letters / textual posts or links to testimonials that have been posted on youtube. This blog will also include testimonials recorded by AGS reps at social events.
We encourage submissions addressing reasons why the state of California should invest in higher education and grad programs specifically, as well as the detrimental effects—both personally and to our research—of the budget cuts.
